Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Niyogprastuti collects, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and the choices you have. It is written to meet the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Google Play's User Data policy.

Who we are and what this covers

Niyogprastuti is operated by Abid Barbhuiya (sole proprietor), India ("we", "us"). This page applies to all of our services:

  • niyogprastuti.com: our job portal with government job notifications, admit cards, results, answer keys, syllabus and admission updates.
  • tests.niyogprastuti.com: our mock-test website.
  • The Niyogprastuti Android app (package *com.niyogprastuti*) on Google Play.
  • Any other niyogprastuti.com subdomain we operate, such as apiandroid.niyogprastuti.com, which serves the apps.

Information we collect

Job portal (niyogprastuti.com)

  • No account is needed. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number.
  • Server logs: IP address, browser type and pages visited, kept briefly for security and statistics.
  • Browser storage: jobs you save and your light/dark theme are stored only in your own browser and never sent to us.

Account (website and Android app)

  • Sign-in details: your name, email address, profile photo (if you sign in with Google) and a user ID, handled by Google Firebase Authentication. We never see your Google password, and email passwords are held by Firebase, not by us.

Learning activity (website and Android app)

  • Tests and practice sets you attempt, your answers, scores, time taken, streaks, coins, saved questions, notes, flashcards, course progress, study plans and exam preferences.

Payments

  • Website (Razorpay): when you buy a plan or course on tests.niyogprastuti.com, Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd. processes the payment. We receive the order ID, payment ID, amount, status and date. Card, UPI and bank details are collected by Razorpay and are never stored by us.
  • Android app (Google Play Billing): purchases in the app are processed by Google Play. We receive the product, order ID, purchase token, amount and dates. Payment details stay with Google.

Device and diagnostics (Android app)

  • Crash reports and technical logs (Firebase Crashlytics), app usage events (Google Analytics for Firebase), and a push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can send the notifications you allow.

Advertising

  • Android app: on the free plan, ads are served by Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising ID and may use approximate location from your IP address. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
  • Job portal: ads are served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

Messages you send

  • Problem reports, question reports and emails to support, with whatever details you include.

Cookies and similar technologies

  • Necessary: keeping you signed in on the website, and security.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics on the job portal and the website, and Google Analytics for Firebase in the app, to understand usage in aggregate.
  • Advertising: Google AdSense cookies on the job portal, and the advertising ID used by AdMob in the app.

You can opt out of personalised ads at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info, and block or delete cookies in your browser. Users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before ads are personalised, and can change their choice at any time (in the app: Profile → Ad privacy choices). How we use your information

  • To provide the job portal, mock tests, scoring, solutions, analytics, courses and leaderboards.
  • To create and secure your account, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
  • To process payments, grant purchased access and handle refunds.
  • To send notifications and service messages you have not turned off.
  • To show ads on free services and measure their performance.
  • To fix crashes and improve our services.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

What other users can see

Leaderboards show your display name and score to other users of the same test or daily challenge. Nothing else about you is shown publicly.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that run our services, each under its own privacy terms:

We may also disclose information when required by law or by a lawful order from a government authority, or to protect our users and services from fraud or abuse. Some providers store data outside India; they protect it under their own security commitments.

How long we keep it

  • Account and learning data: while your account exists.
  • Server logs: up to 90 days.
  • Crash reports: as set by Firebase Crashlytics (currently 90 days).
  • Payment and purchase records (product, order or payment ID, amount, dates; no name or email): kept after account deletion for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and to handle refunds and disputes.

Deleting your account and data

You can permanently delete your account at any time:

Deletion is immediate and removes your profile, sign-in account, test history, results, answers, saved questions, notes, flashcards, course progress, study plans, streaks, leaderboard entries and reports. Only the payment records described above are kept.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
  • have it corrected or completed;
  • have it erased;
  • withdraw consent at any time;
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf;
  • raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Our services are meant for people preparing for competitive exams. They are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you are under 18, please use our services with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with Google Cloud and our hosting provider. Administrative access is restricted to authorised people and protected by sign-in checks. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

We will update the date below when this policy changes, and tell app users about significant changes in the app.
